Service Management Specialist Position

Bestica is seeking a senior level IT Service Management Specialist for a career building role in San Antonio TX or Irvine CA. This position is with a large financial industry company that is consistently recognized as one of the top places to work in the country.

The Service Management Specialist acts as part of a strategy team which develops and implements service management solutions in conjunction with application and infrastructure project teams.

Bestica seeks an individual who will analyze business requirements, develop service management strategies and roadmaps, and ensure that the strategies are successfully adopted by the customers to address current business needs and future requirements.

You will:

  • Lead small to medium cross-functional technology workgroups
  • Serve as process advisor on cross-functional projects
  • Participate on and/or lead service management projects
  • Perform independent and group research into new technology and processes
  • Lead service management technology evaluations

The client environment is highly collaborative. As a senior specialist, you will be participating in cross-functional teams to strategically evaluate and create process changes in the areas of performance, availability, capacity, and functionality.

You must demonstrate the ability to work in teams, and should have experience participating in the development of objectives and resolution of issues. You will be expected to ask and answer questions, share opinions and perspectives, and suggest new and creative ideas, all while working within a highly developed corporate culture.
