Sr. ITIL Business Analyst Job

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with customers, team members and ITSM team members to provide ITIL process solutions, business requirements and specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business users to develop business processes within the ITIL Framework.
  • Conduct user requirements sessions with subject-matter experts.
  • Translating business requirements into documentation for the use users and technical staff.
  • Work in a global team setting.
  • Maintain flexibility in approach and solutions to meet the changing needs of a fast-growing business.
  • Facilitate cross-organizational communication.
  • Translating business requirements into documentation that developers can use to create quality software.
  • Helping others learn and achieve their best, and understanding the value of synergy.
  • Delivering promised solutions on time, on budget, and on scope

  • Experience in business analysis for development, integration, and/or IT infrastructure projects.
  • A strong working knowledge of the ITIL framework and experience with process development and implementation.
  • Experience in designing and facilitating requirements gathering sessions.
  • Experience in designing and facilitating business process engineering sessions.
  • Experience in leading process improvement efforts.
  • Experience estimating and planning BA efforts.
  • Work with the PMO in applying IT project methodology in a complex, fast-paced business environment is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills are essential.

  • Strong skills using MS Office.
  • Experience working in global teams.
  • An understanding of the Finance Industry and how IT contributes to the delivery of that product or service to the Business;

  • Knowledge and experience of contract and/or supplier management roles;• Good people skills/coordinating and administrative skills

  • Reasonable technical understanding with an ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts and vice versa
  • A good listener with the ability to apply the knowledge gained effectively
This position is with a major investment company and is based in San Francisco, CA.
