Senior Director of IT Best Practice Position

Performance Expectations

Business executive who brings the competency and experience needed deploy the core of best practices within the company’s system of management. This person will deploy best practices to IT. This will require coordination across the IT department, with other departments, and with the line operating businesses. The best practices will be deployed within the exiting “IT Transformation” strategy and will apply to all business units and support functions’ technology (systems, processes and staff). Best practices will increase the capability of the IT function to a “mastery of the basics” while providing a work environment where company’s axioms, purpose, and values are present.

This is a senior position because of the experience required to not only deploy best practices, but to use these practices to stay connected with both the business results expected and the growth and development of the staff. This role will work closely with the Senior Director of Core Infrastructure, who is accountable for delivering the essential technical infrastructure and related processes that will support a departmental wide best practice.

This is an interim role while the CIO is deployed to the larger Accounting and IT transformation. The initial term for this role is 12 months with a possible extension of 6 to 12 months.
