Quint Wellington Redwood

For practical and valuable information on implementing processes based on ITIL Best Practices, go to a company that has expertise in all facets of organizational change. Everything I know about ITIL and Service Management, I learned from Quint during my 4 years as a Instructor and Consultant. This is by far, the most valuable experience in gaining the necessary insight for devising the best solutions for IT customers. If you choose a consulting company that has only theoretical experience, you will be no better off than if you read the books yourself and applied the principles. The ITIL books are reference books and meant to be used only as a guideline. Success will not come from a book but in having the insight to use the information to craft creative solutions. High level discussion of theory is not useful, tangible and practical tools are the key.
